Surface Coating

The UK’s Surface Coating sector is huge with a really diverse range of companies using deionised water for CNC machines, precision engineering, laser cutting, anodising, plating, ultrasonic cleaning, laser/hydro-cutting, powder coating (final rinse), dye testing and more.

One of the key things to consider when manufacturing your products or testing is - Are your batches and readings consistent?

We regularly speak to companies who “just use tap water” but don't understand why their batch finishes sometimes differ or they are not meeting regulations.

This is all down to the reactivity of water. To put it simply, the lower the TDS/conductivity of the water supply, the more consistent and controllable the end result is.

At Fluid Science Ltd, we manufacture systems which will generate high quality deionised water with a range of purchasing options available to suit the needs of your business for less than you might think!

Our standard systems utilise reverse osmosis technology and are uniquely built around a holding tank in sizes ranging from 200L to 4000L.

They are durable, easy to service and will save you space but most importantly will produce a high-quality product which is perfectly suited to all industries.

The purity specification that we can achieve with our standard design is on average 1.3 μS/cm or 000ppm with 0.2mg/l of chlorides. With a large range of filtration media available, we can achieve the specification suitable for your needs.

We can give you the options to include a UV sterilisation kit and regular servicing by one of our experienced engineers.

All of our systems are built on site to the exact customer specification as per their intended use.

We can provide you with systems which can produce up to 600,000L per day and any kind of filtration requirement. Call us to find out more.

Quality - The Stats!

As standard, our systems produce deionised water to the following specifications.
Nitrates and chlorides of Less than 0.2ppm
Heavy Metals of less than 0.1ppm
TVC of less than 100
Conductivity 1.3μS/cm
